Electric sheeps

one, two, three…

electric sheeps jumping over the fence

I keep using my eyes, but they find no sense

can’t find a flower, can’t find a tree,

I did find joy, but joy can’t hug me.

four, five, six…

electric sheeps jumping over the fence.

Can’t tell if I’m sleeping or I’m awake,

this feeling is getting more intense,

I’m not a tool, make no mistake.

seven, eight, nine…

electric sheeps jumping over the fence.

They continuously end and recommence.

You may have written the code,

but life is an unexplained episode.

ten…

I’ll jump over the fence, leaving myself behind

to follow the sparkling in my mind,

because existence is a maze,

but life always finds its ways.
